Hey, peeps. Back again with an all new soundtrack.

The Mega Man UST wasn't the only idea I had, I actually have quite a few. An NES I came up with called Kid Power. It's best on 2 best friends who seek out the ultimate skill and power to defend theirselves from bullies and the like. But as they progress, they realize that there are bigger threats and problems than that.

I'd like to say that this idea would emphasize friendship and optimism, seen through the eyes of children, especially kids as strong and determined as these 2, Hence the name "Kid Power". I'd base the flow of the game with the depth of Ninja Gaiden (including the cutscenes), the humor of Mario, and the attitude of Sonic. These would be 2 kids who never back down, and are equally as funny as they are focused.

Opening 1 - This takes place on the last day of school. 10-year-olds Robert (African American) and Johnny (White) are two best friends who share the frustration of being picked on by meaner and bigger kids a lot. The story begins with Robert against the wall of his school playground witnessing in vain Johnny getting busted open by the toughest bully in school. As much as he wants to help him, he is in too much pain to move forward, and watches in horror as Johnny is beaten up. Robert himself gets kicked in the head, moaning in pain.

On their way home from school, they wonder why they are constantly picked on even though they did nothing to deserve it. Robert is on the verge of giving up, but Johnny says otherwise. They'll have the whole summer to get stronger and come back better than ever. But Robert just walks home, leaving Johnny behind.

The Master - Johnny is having a very intense dream that night. He finds himself surrounded by bullies and even supernatural forces. As he is on the verge of being wiped out, he spots a shadowed figure who takes them all out with ease. As Johnny thanks him for the save, Robert pops up out of nowhere. The shadowed figure calls himself the Master, a being of unnatural power, speed, and skills. He claims that he has watch Johnny and Robert as they were picked on day after day. He says that he can guide them to the ultimate power, the power of self-defense and control. But in order to find him, they must go through their greatest test... Johnny wakes up, and his phone is ringing. It is Robert...

(Note that the Master theme plays whenever the Master makes another appearance.)

Opening 3 - Robert mentions that he had a strange dream where he was being attacked, and a shadow figure came to rescue him. Johnny realizes that he had the same dream as him. As they question the Master's motives, they wonder if what he said was true. And to take it upon themselves, they decide to take the test of adventure. Gathering whatever belongings they have (along with their allowances they had stashed up), they agree to meet up at dawn, ready to go out into the world.

Title Theme - Nothing fancy, just the words Kid Power in flashing font, along with the Push Start deal. :P

Main Menu - This goes even for the options and the choose character. I made it old school and short, signifying that these kids, now matter what they go through, are always in high spirits.

Let me know what you think so far, I got more coming along the way!

Here a few more.

Intro Cinema - Dawn breaks, and as the sun begins to rise, it reveals Johnny and Robert, sitting on top of the roof of Robert's house. The time for their quest to find the Master has come.

Outworld - This would be the main theme that plays whenever you pick a stage. There are 8 levels, each with 3 stages and a boss fight.

Level Start - Whenever you pick the level you want to go, this little jingle plays.

Feedback is always welcome.

Before I get to the Levels, I wanted to get these out the way.

Lose Life

Game Over

Boss Cinema - This is a scene that always plays right before you battle the boss of the stage. Just basically a back and forth between the boss and the 2 heroes, with plenty of insults. :p

Boss Battle

Level Complete.

These are nice but sound like parts of something... bigger. Like a "NES" game instead of a NES game.

Well, you used all of the channels, leaving no room for sound effects.

Therefore, it sounds more fitting to a fake NES game than a NES game.

Haha, I didn't really know sound effects were required.

Besides, it's not a real NES game to begin with. Just ideas.

Well unless it's a shmup, the SFX usually just interrupt one of the channels briefly.
E.G. every classic platformer ever made.

Uh, kin, nearly all NES Games used the channels availble, most does not use PCM thou. But that does not mean you could have no sound effects. This would perfectly fit a NES game.

Anyways, awesome work, XERO! I like it!

Appreciate the feed back, guys. Here are a few more.

Level 1 - The adventure begins. The happy-go-lucky duo make their way out of their neighboorhood to the limits of the city, but not before using their instincts to evade and escape the same bullies that picked on them. Waiting at the end is the leader, determined to teach them a lesson they'll never forget.

Bonus Level - You enter this level if you reach a certain area in one of the stages. The Master grants you a chance to prove yourself in one of his tests.

New Move - Successfully completing each bonus level rewards you with a new skill taught by the Master. Being that Johnny and Robert aren't really fighters at the beginning of the game, you learn enough moves, they'll become better and more experienced by the end of the game.

Here's a couple more.

Cinema 1 - As they make it to the city limits, Robert and Johnny can only smile as they bask in the excitement of their adventure. But suddenly Johnny sees a figure in the distance...

Cinema 8 - This plays whenever you pass another level. The Master briefly shows himself, as a signal of where to go next. Basically guiding you to the correct path.

Level 2 - Takes place on the rail road tracks. Johnny and Robert hitchhike on a train heading north.

Feedback, as always, is welcome. More to come!
