Hey. Here are a few of the covers that I've done over the last few months or so and decided to post them on here to see what you all thought and get some feedback on them.

Yes, they are all covers. Still trying to find my style that I enjoy most of all and am most competent with at the moment before I start doing my own compositions!

Let me know your feedback on them - constructive or otherwise!

EDIT: I know that the FFXIII and trainer battle themes aren't as good since didn't know about vibrato at the time. The FFV, F-Zero and gym leader battle themes are probably a lot better than those. (He says!)

Wow, that F-Zero cover is really nice. It made me remember that F-Zero X isn't the only game in the series.

Thanks! I've personally only played F-Zero on the SNES and haven't actually played any of the more "recent" ones in the series. Love the OST for it.

Funny enough I covered the Pokémon trainer song myself a while ago. My version is [url=http://famitracker.shoodot.net/forum/posts.php?id=2149]here.

You've got a couple of wrong notes in it, but they're not that bad. I think the more important thing to work on is your use of volume. The Game Boy version had better envelopes, I think, and it made more use of dynamics. Some vibrato would help too.

BTW, don't start off with silence. If you want your pattern to be shorter, use the D00 command to cut it short.

Very nice cover indeed! Love the way you incorporated the drums into it. Yeah after I did the pokemon trainer battle theme, I was told about how much of a difference vibrato can make to my covers hence why it didn't have vibrato in it (a bit hard on the ears!)

I'll see whether I can improve on the volume a bit more - I find it a bit hard at times to strike a good balance between channels. Also a fair point about having nothing at the start - I still don't know why I start off with that! Derpity derp. Thanks for the comments

Bit of a later update than expected but an update nonetheless. Got a few more covers here.

Again, comments and criticism are appreciated :]

These are for the most part very well done. Maybe a bit more volume control would help. Also I don't know if the beginning silence is necessary.

Thanks for the reply and comments Fezuke! Yeah still trying to get my volume balances just right. I guess that will come with a bit more time and work! :] Yeah my previous covers did have silence at the start but have rectified that in my more recent covers so we'll be having no more of that! I have no idea why I had silence at the start on my previous ones...
