Sometimes I feel I shouldn't be judging the Cover section, seeing as most of the time I haven't heard the original versions of almost any song covered.

hoooooo boy! lots of good stuff. lots! these ones left the biggest impressions on me:

originals: 05, 12, 18, 40, 41, 43, 44, 46,
covers: 03, 06, 13, 15, 16, 22(2), 34, 36, 37, 43, 48(3), 50, 54. 67, 70

wow, lots.

love all the jokey songs as well. i burst out laughing about a dozen times.

on the flipside i am disappointed with the subsongs allowance. how are you supposed to score the songs separately? and how does it make sense if they are all unrelated songs that have no business being bundled together? not a good move for famicompo imo. i might just not score the multisong ones or otherwise do some dumb averaging.

Size on disk is rounded up to the nearest cluster on your hard drive, which depends on how your hard drive is formatted. It doesn't tell you anything about the content of the file.

The actual file size might though. NSFs are 128 bytes + some number of 4k banks, though it might not be a requirement to completely fill the last bank.

Other things you can do to try and determine what engine is used, NSFPlug has a "memory" option in its menu where you can inspect memory as it's playing. Or you could just hex edit.

Smoke weed everyday 63 was my favorite entry in terms of being original as a cover. How did he get the DPCM so clear? 37, is beautiful...I love the amazing use of VRC7...

I have a feeling that isn't DPCM. It might be raw PCM.

But there's only one way to find out. Rainwarrior, once again, your tool will save the day!

EDIT: It IS raw PCM. Perhaps a PornoTracker NSF?

Wow, will Famitracker ever support PCM? What's the difference?

!?
I just noticed mine was already mentioned by one of you guys. Well then, considering how it was mentioned, I think I'm happy with that. Didn't expect that. Guess I should stop staying up til 5AM so I can actually pay attention to things.

Most of the time I go there I don't see the download link. Only twice have I seen it at the top. I don't know.

Also, this is a stupid question, but if I can, how do I vote? I'm kind of confused. (This is my first time if you didn't notice...)
