Of course, the instant I start listening, I immediately realize that I didn't spend enough time on my submission, esp the instruments. Damn chiptuners and their fancy ass musical pyrotechnic mumbo-jumbo.
I'm gonna guess that Kulor covered Knight's Errand. That thin square does a pretty decent sound as trumpet.
Twilight in Upper West could've been done so much better. It's a shame, should've been a shiverfest but it's really held back by poor waveforms and envelopes.
I'm not sure who the author is, but pretty sure it's the person who puts up tons of vrc7 piano midi conversion things on the LODA 2ch archive.
So, as much as I like basically every single entry in the covers section, 13 really REALLY stands out. Sounds so fucking epic. I'd give the #1 to that one, I'm almost sure.
I'm gonna go on another tangent and say that 49 sounds like Javel and I guess 60 does sound like Robokabuto after all. I'd like for one of you guys to try and pick out the one I submitted. Think you guys recognize my so called style by now? Also yeah, I guess this makes me sound like an attention whore. It's been a year now since I've been using FT, and I'm just curious if people can recognise my stuff by now. Would it stand out in such a way? I wonder...
Anyhow, for Originals, 16, 22, and 44 I think are the biggest three that stand out for me. Again, I like pretty much all of them here as well, but those 3 just stand out most to my ears.
I certainly didn't expect so many solo 2A03-entries, that's cool.
Best named song: Original entry no.28.

Nope. I had a Earth, Wind & Fire-cover in the works, but I couldn't get it to groove. (and it was started two days before the deadline... so of course it was never going to be finished in time.) No cover by me this year.
Aww... That sucks
Well, that one sounds kind of similar to your stuff. Actually, the percussion I think mostly, if anything else. Ah well, better luck next time man.
Edit: Eh... I Listened to 49 again and I gotta wonder how I thought it sounded like you. Guess we all know who needs to go to bed =\
Aw, one of my originals was rejected. Too bad they didn't reject the other original instead of this xD Oh well, still have a cover and an original left hehe.
Oh well, I guess we'll see how it does when voting is over then!
Protip: it's easy to tell ppMCK NSFs from FamiTracker NSFs: the former's output's size is always a multiple of 8KB, both actual size and size on disk; whereas FamiTracker NSFs will have varying data for both. For instance, Cover #35's size is 17,9KB, but 20,0KB on disk (not only do both sizes differ but 20 isn't a multiple of 8), so your guess about it being from this forum (or at least a FT NSF) would be correct. Cover #9, for instance, is 16KB both actual size and size on disk. Furthermore, it uses the N106 which further proves my theory right. :p
I really wanted to run the optimizer on mine but ran out of time. Was like sitting there watching it go, screaming at it to hurry up. Had to submit the compile as-was, which was good because it didn't finish until something like 10 minutes after deadline passed.
Gonna wait on listening to the originals until whenever the syncparty is.
44 really stands out for me for originals. That mix of Sunsoft Bass samples with slap bass is just AMAZING.
Also does an .nsf file size of 47kb suggest that someone from here made it?
