It DOES kind of resemble music for a few seconds before totally raping your ears. Maybe you're right. :P

Pretty glad my cover's been mentioned only once and wasn't even linked to me.

You'll never guess, haha!

On the other hand I'm loving all of these - Captain America, Dancing Mad, and entry 13 is fucking awesome. Oh, and the Baby Bowser one, too.

Haven't gone through the originals much yet, and I haven't gone for a detailed listen to all of the entries to a lack of time.

I know which one is yours. :p

I've started to compile comments and ratings for every Cover entry. So far I've listened to and commented on everything up until Cover #40 inclusively. You can read my commentary here. If your cover is one of the remaining 32, then sorry, you'll have to wait. :\

If I've been mean to you or your entry, then I also do apologise. :c No offence meant!

Oh... no commentary on originals?

Well, there are some really good songs in this section too.

Now I've finished listening to the originals. Quoting my covers post for my own convenience.

Just finished a quick browse through the cover section. I love 9, 11, 15, 22 #3 (if only because I know what it's a cover of), 24, all of 27, 29, 31, 34, 35, 37, 38, 40, 42, 47, 53, 54, 55, 60, 62, and 67 #1.

As for the originals, I love 1, 4, 5, 6, 12, 16, 18, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 30, all of 32, 38, 39, 40, 44 and 46. (45 was very close to being in this list). Absolute favourites would have to be 4, 16, 19 24, 32 #2, 38, 44 and 46.

Is 6 done by WeirdBananas? Does he even hang around here anymore? And is 16 done by commandycan/Triflake? Does he even hang around here anymore? I'm also rather certain 46 is FoD.

I also spoiled myself with 38.

These songs make me feel bad about my own composing skills.

Also, when the voting round comes along, how many songs are we allowed to vote for in each section?

The worst part about Dimension Reversing Dualities was the loop which is the ending to the song, but oh boy how happy was I, when I heard the 32 entry. A little worse than the original(it was faster alot, too), but still a good completion.

ALSO 38 IS M.......... aaaaaaa I'm not going to say it.

Ha ha Original 42 is Dies Irae? Doesn't this belong in covers?

LOL I thought the same thing.

Then again, this is totally not slow-paced gregorian-chant-style stuff so I dunno, maybe the dude(tte) thought it didn't fit in covers?

What you did there, I see it.

I am just in the begining of my listening!

Here are some pearls I've totally dig from the first time hearing them:

32-1: HELP ME! Awesome tune that really builds up a great atmosphere in tune1. 32-2: Rock on! Could it be Heosphoros or RushJet1?

39: The one I am listening to right now, alooot. I really dig it. Great soft intro. And then it speeds up faaaaaast! Funny feeling when listening to the loop, the songs feels faster and faster.

Anyway, alot of other great tunes. I really have to listen more carefully to the songs!

About original 3: It feels like a Mega Man song! It's really great, and would with no doubt fit FINE in a MM game!

FYI, original #13 was disqualified for using 8 tracks. Before you complain, 5 songs per artist has always been the limit for years now.

..but yeah, the track thing prolly wasn't a good idea this year!
