I have been playing around on a keyboard of mine, and I found one instrument that was epic when it came to chords.
What im asking for is, is it possible to take this WAV file and make it an instrument, I want it to have the beginning play, and then loop around the middle, like when a square fade in, and loops a solid sound.
I honestly have no idea if an instrument was every made that sounded like this on the instrument thread, but help would be appreciated!
EDIT: I know the VRC7 has instruments that sound familiar, but I want something close to exact, the VRC7 one is a lot less gutairish.

My guess is, you'd need to actually record it with some form of line in so you wouldn't lose quality. Otherwise converting it to dmc would sound really bad. As for using it as an instrument, I don't see why not. If you want it to loop properly, you'd have to use that sample as a starting sample, then make another, but cut in half as the looping sample. Then convert both to dmc.
Or, he could just open the file in Audacity's audio track & trace the sound wave in an FDS instrument.
I tried to paste it, It crashed the famitracker...
By hand would be nearly impossible, it would take a good while to get it exact

Not really; if you can set the FamiTracker window to somehow become semi-transparent, you can overlap the program's window on top of Audacity's audio track & then map it manually.
