To clarify, I mean in 0.3.7, if the highest volume played is 4, then 4 will sound like F.

To be more clear, let's say you have an intro where you have just the square fading in, you won't hear a fadein unless it's in the instrument. Also, let's say you quiet everything down to 5 during the middle of the song for dramatic effect, it will sound like everything's at F unless you use quieted instruments.

So if the loudest volume at any point is 4, it will be just as loud as F would normally be?

Does 4 have to be the loudest volume in each frame, each note, or the whole song?

It sounds more like a 'you don't understand' problem than a 'there is a bug problem'.

Prove me wrong and post your ftm.

The problem isn't with FamiTracker as much as it is with other players not being able to support VRC7 audio output properly (but I could be wrong).

You see; if I play any VRC7 track in FamiTracker, it works with proper volume control. But, if I compile the NSF & play it in Nestopia, all the VRC7 channels will sound loud; I initially posted that when I tested out FamiTracker 0.3.5 beta.

Yeah, I don't see any behavior that looks like a bug. What pattern/frame/channel is the problem on?

Sounds perfectly fine to me. Try replacing your EXE with a fresh copy?

EDIT: also this sounds really good. are you sure you're feeling alright kinkinkijkin?
