Okay, so I had this idea for a Mega Man game. :P

I already got all the robots, and the plot down.

And of course, I made music for every part.

The game itself is not in progress, but I put a lot of effort into the soundtrack, so I hope you guys can check it out and give me some feed back. And since I was a noob to Famitracker when I made them, every song is in a seperate file instead of in a module pack.

So, I ask for your patience.

Here are the first few jingles to start off:

Opening 1 - The start of the story. Mega Man, Dr. Light, Roll, Rush, and Auto are preparing to take a long-deserved vacation. Mega Man even has on the outfit he wore in the first game in the ending. All is well, and they are making their way to the beach. However, all of a sudden, a huge explosion interrupts the good vibes, and the beach is turned into a destroyed hell hole.

Opening 2 - Mega Man comes to, only to see his long-time nemesis, Bass, and his robot dog, Treble. Bass is responsible for the destruction he's caused. Mega Man wonders why Wily is not with him, and Bass tells him that this has nothing to do with Wily's desires this time (yeah right! lol). He tells Mega Man that he's waited long enough, and he wants to settle the score with him once and for all, to prove who is the far superior robot. In preparation, he has the backup of 8 new Robot Masters to backup his bidding of chaos:

Ghost Man: The robot designed in means of supernatural communication.
Neon Man: The robot designed in means of consuming and producing the rare gas.
Steel Man: The robot designed in means of armor processing.
Tide Man: The robot designed in means of ocean level control.
Warp Woman: The robot designed in means of altering the space time continuum.
Quake Man: The robot designed in means of seismic constructions in the earth.
Lava Man: The robot designed in means of examining and controlling volcanic eruptions.
Atom Man: The robot designed to explore and research the smallest particles in existence.

Being under peril, and worried about the world being under danger from Bass, and with the support of his friends, Mega Man makes the decision...

Opening 3 - Donning his battle suit and helmet once again, Mega Man, along with Rush, goes off after Bass, Treble, and the 8 robots, vowing to stop them, and bringing peace back to the world once again. This is going to be his toughest challenge yet...

This is the Title Theme, which would depict a shot of Mega Man and Bass charging at each other as the words 'Mega Man 11' would appear above them. Remember, this isn't official. Just my idea of what the game would be like. :P

This is the Main Menu theme, where you can Start Game, go to the Shop, do the Challenges, or try the Endless Stage.

Let me know what you think. There are definitely more to come.

Sounds pretty good, I'm not really getting a Mega Man vibe from these though.

Try having more attack on your leads, they are all pretty flat sounding. Some of the tempos on these sound really weird as well.

Pretty good work so far though.

I gotta say, your title doesn't sound like a "title" theme from a mega man game, but it definitely sounds like a "got weapon" theme. It would actually kick ass as a got weapon theme.

EDIT:

Made an edit to make your robot master defeated thing sound happier or something. Also I feel that MMCHOOSEROBOT would work a LOT better as the "shop / dr light's lab" theme. The choose robot theme is usually unhappy sounding or at least in a minor key, and this sounds more relaxed.

Haha, thanks for the edit. I really chose to have the Robot Defeated theme to sound more unhappy to go with the flow of the game. I know every Robot Defeated in past Mega Man games are usually happy, but I wanted to be different. I could've easily went the same route, though.

As for Choose Robot themes, I know for a fact that MM5's theme was more relaxed. I guess I had that in mind when I made the song. lol

I did like the edit, though.

Here are some themes involving Proto Man. The idea is in 3 Robot Stages, if you go a certain obscure route, you run into Proto Man and he talks to you. You also remember how to charge your Mega Buster and Slide again. And if you run into him the third time, he actually battles you to test your strength. If you defeat him, he gives you his shield. And after that, he says one last goodbye speech and goes away.

Proto Man Cinema
Proto Man Battle
Proto Man's Exit

Thank's for the feedback, guys. I got a lot more coming!

I've notice some problems with these songs.

First off, the game over one is not quite happy enough to be a mega-man game over.

That's the only one I will say. Because I went off and made a song and forgot what I was gonna write.

I always thought that the game over screens were giving me a giant middle finger every time I got it. It's like a sneering bully spitting in your face!

Haha, thanks for the feed back. MM3 was the worst Game Over screen when it came to messin' with you with that happy jingle. lol

I just wanted to try the more traditional approach. Plus, it gave me a reason to put in the ending of MM2 into it.

Anyways, here are the Robot Masters finally!

Ghost Man: The robot designed in means of supernatural communication. Note that this level would have the disappearing and reappearing blocks.

Neon Man: The robot designed in means of consuming and producing the rare gas.

Steel Man: The robot designed in means of armor processing.

Tide Man: The robot designed in means of ocean level control. The water level in the game.

Heh, it's cool.

I practically did these before I even knew what TT was. I always wanted to do a MM soundtrack.
