I like the texture you've created here. It's interesting how the odd row length ends up truncating the last octave of the echo.

I didn't do anything special, just looked at the FTM you posted and figured out some instruments based on it.

PPMCK has auto echo?

Building and rebuilding echos is one of the things I really wish I could automate in FamiTracker... maybe a special value in the arpeggio macro that reads back the pitch from a previous row or something.

There's a paste and mix! Thank you for pointing this out.

I thought it was obvious so much that my sarcasm sensors tingle with fear.

I did make this though. Protip: use ctrl+m instead of setting the paste&mix option in the edit menu each time you start the program. Saves time.

EDIT: One tune in which I used the same the technique quite extensively was this one cover from a tune by virt ([url=http://2a03.free.fr/dl.php?file=808]full tune).

Inventing new echo techniques is nerdy fun.

Triplet based echo is fairly underused I think. it works pretty well even if the song hasn't got a triplet feel. Another way is throwing in fast arps instead of echo notes. (frame 3 in example)

edit: nice harmonies there, gyms. maybe add some melodic content.
