He used a pitch that made the song sound a bit better.
BTW it sounds ok, but try using more gaps between notes, noise, DPCM, and all that other stuff.
If you need help, im 90% sure theres some help on the wiki, or you can look up tutorials on basics.

The only reason the triangle itself sounds good to others is because the pitch effect essentially turned the triangle channel into percussion. This said, it's nothing new in FamiTracker's usage (even FamiTracker 0.3.0 had a preset for that).
Dragoneye0510: as much as any new FamiTracker user would be proud of their first song, it's not exactly the greatest. Thankfully, this is only your first song; it can tell us a bit about how much music theory you actually know, how willing you would be to learn/improve 7 how much potential you have.
I think you have potential; if you're also totally new to music, you'll need to learn the fundamentals of notation, timing & balancing harmony against discord. Otherwise, you just need to read the wiki & help file a bit more, to get the hang of this program.
