I haven't posted anything in ages so here's a remake I've been working on. Also my first thing using 900BPM!

I did this because I recently finished playing the original and purchased Risky's Revenge (and Jake Kaufman is the man). I know it's a bit awkward using a mixture of 1xx/2xx and Pxx commands for the pitch bends but oh well. Also, I can't get the square drums to sound right. I'm usually terrible with vibratos but I spent a lot of time trying to get them to sound right in this (and I think it's almost correct).

Considering I couldn't even decently remake Bandit Town a few months back must mean I've improved.
FIXED
EXCELLENT
i get confused as to why there are instruments with macros if you are going 900bpm
Convenience mainly. But you're right, it is a bit unnecessary.
As for the square drums, I think you need to use a higher clock speed or something to accurately remake them. I found them impossible to recreate decently even in 900BPM.

Excellent cover! Definitely on par with danooct1's Shantae cover! I've been listening to this on loop for some time now, and it doesn't get old. Great job!

jrlepage: The noise channel? He was talking about the square channel (i.e. THE TWO SQUARE DRUM INSTRUMENTS)

psn: oh interesting, i've never really bothered to check the clock speed of the gameboy, but from what visualboyadvance has told me before it is probably not 60Hz

well good show then
