So a few weeks ago, Javel posted up a topic entitled "Movie Themes...", and he was kind enough to create for me a rendition of "Speak Softly Love" from "The Godfather."
Taking on this idea, it inspired me to go back to the era of the 80s when the NES was around, and do the same for some famous TV themes.
The first that came to mind was the theme from "The A-Team." So what you have here is a looping version of it using a Konami instrument set that someone else had posted in another topic that I collected and reused here.
It cuts out part of the song to make looping easier. The part that was cut from the theme is a very soft part in the original. Very hard to train the ear to listen to the notes and hear them correctly, plus the beats weren't as structured as the rest of the song. Thus it isn't present. If you feel like adding it, feel free.

Yes. That's the part I omitted because the mp3 I have that I listened to of the original theme was very quiet and had a lot of instruments running together. I play music by ear for the most part, and I just absolutely could not get my ear trained to the proper notes to make it come out right.
So after messing with that last little bit of the song for three days and it not sounding right, I made an executive decision to "screw it" and loop it after what I'd call the second part of the tune, omitting the third, and having it loop back to the first part of the song. That seemed the most natural for what I had working.
Although if someone wants to add that third bit in there, that'd be awesome. I just couldn't get it in my head enough to do it myself. My main idea was to take the A-Team theme, try to turn it into something somewhat sounding like something Konami might do. Konami seemed more appropriate a company than Capcom since they tended to release a lot of games with a military theme (Contra, Jackal, etc.)
