The square sounds very much like a 16bit Treasure game's use of square waves. i like that.

But I think the instrument02 is a bit too snappy.

I tweaked the modulation attack a bit to make it less snappy.

EDIT: Increased the swing to make it funkier.

yes but the notes are such that they dissonantly conflict with the melody and make it sound like a earsplitting cacophony! try to make some chords for accompaniment so that it makes it sound more full, not more note-y! you have a chord consisting of C, G#, A# in frame 01 - it's good to be creative but make sure it makes sense within the song!

A flat Major add9 mofo

Goes to B Major. To I add 4 (I don't see the resolution, so probably incorrect to call it a sus like I did below)
Iadd9 -> #III (passing) -> Isus4 -> v (passing)->Isus4
