I'm trying to make a whole OST of songs with the same lead, bass, and perc sounds.

So far, 4 songs, and the first word of the name. "The".

I like how you only used white key notes in all of your songs.

The one thing I'm liking is the series of arpeggios in track 5. Otherwise, due to the fact that each song is very repetitive & in the C major scale, I feel it's a bit basic when compared to what you're capable of (i.e.: I remember the one song that you did & everyone actually liked, kinkinkijkin).

I thought this was "let's make a bunch of songs with only a few instruments" not "let's make a bunch of songs in modes of C"

But really kinkinkijkin, if you want to improve, you should try covering some stuff. It'll give you a good handle on how music works and it'll benefit you in the long run. At least try to listen to a variety of music, you might get a few chord changes or motifs stuck in your head that you can put in your next song.
I like how you only used white key notes in all of your songs.
White key notes?.

If he were used E Major it's the same scale, the major scale, but translated a little to the right.
However, in E Major there are "black keys"!!, but the musical effect is the same!.

The point is trying to use different scales or mixing them in songs, no simply "use black keys".

Oh I understand, I just thought it was pretty strange seeing only modes of C. I think the songs need a little more motion, length, and some chord progressions :/

What's all this crap about CMaj? Do all of you have perfect pitch making F#M sound totally distinct from CMaj?

I think the main problem is the instruments themselves. Their definitions (especially volume) don't lend much to the creative process. You could even achieve a ton more using Blank.

He uses C major because it's the most basic scale that anyone can create music in (& I feel that he shouldn't be afraid to try other things, as long as he can actually teach himself whatever he needs in order to succeed). Plus, All he'd need to do to change his tunes to a different major would be to transpose his notes after composing his songs in C major anyways.

This said, it's not his goal because he wants all his songs to be in the same scale.

As for the instruments, come to think about it, I actually agree. More can be done with a blank instrument because you can choose your own effects at any moment of the track (while a small number of set instruments would only restrict your music).

It's not that I'm afraid, it's that I did the first song in CMaj and wanted felt like keeping all of the songs in the same key, for reasons you might know.
