Using the effects, you can make the song jump from one place in a frame to the next frame, for example. Read the instructions.

8bitalex: Welcome!

The Fxx command is used to set tempo or speed. So say if your whole song is set at F06, you could really speed up a frame by putting a F03 effect at the start of the frame in any channel. That new speed will continue until another speed effect is used.

Yes, you should read the instructions. But let me touch on what Dafydd was saying. You will want to set the frame length to the length of the longest frame you want to use. If you want any of your frames to be shorter, use the effect that skips to the next frame. I can't remember off hand if it is Bxx, Cxx or Dxx. One of those ends the song completely, one of them skips to the beginning of frame xx, and one of them jumps to column xx of the next frame.

Thanks for elaborating on that, tadpole. I was feeling too lazy to. But as a general rule, before you come to a forum asking for help about anything at all, rtfm. If it's not in the manual, or if the manual is incomprehensible (which certainly isn't the case with Famitracker's), *then* ask for help. Otherwise you'll just be wasting people's time.

Not only for impersonating staff with an account you only just created, but for being a giant hypocrite about proper grammar. Oh, and not even getting a simple thing such as the fact that the general forum IS the place to post this kind of thing.

Do us all a favor and go become an hero.

8bitalex: The question was well answered by Tadpole. Only way to do that is to use channel effects.

TheAdmin: I can't see the meaning with creating an useless account just to say that. If it bothers you then just stop reading, comments like that doesn't help.
