I guess I'll attach it then.

Yeah, btw, that note-delay bug it is only happening on GameBoy. I am fixing right now all the bugs and the error in the manual that you discovered. An updated version will be uploaded soon.

So it is meant to work like Gxx, then, with 'xx' being the value to delay by in frames, is that correct?

I thought so.

Another thing I thought about: again I didn't check so I apologise if the answer is available already, but I know the GameBoy's first square channel had hardware pitch sweep available. Is it implemented yet, and if not is it going to be implemented anytime in the near future?

Also, what do you think about SID support somewhere down the road? :p

It is not implemented yet but I will implement this using the 13xx effect on the Game Boy. :D

I am thinking seriously about this.

WOW!!, I hope that you don't mind if I include this as a default DefleMask's module. :D

Sure, but I'd like you to wait until I can fix the triplets when EDxx works properly (the method I used with the separate instruments breaks the volume envelopes).

Three minor complaints:
1. Disk operations don't seem to work with most of your disk, it'd be nice if you could open songs from anywhere.
2. The mask scares the pants off me every time I start the tracker!
3. There's no checkbox to opt for you having all of my babies. You really should have one of those, too.

Other than that, I think I'm gonna love it. Great job!

Ok, the 5.1b will be released today.

I didn't found a cross-platform solution for disk exploration. DefleMask will be ported someday to Linux and MacOS X, so this is why you only get a fixed directory to save/load modules.

HAHAHAHA xD

I don't understand a word of this. xD

I couldn't think of an appropriate description myself so I totally googled one. I'm not a proponent of neither 'epic' nor 'win', though.

More suggestions:

-Transpose feature, e.g. ctrl+mousewheel up/down tranposes selection up or down by one semitone. FamiTracker's Ctrl+F1/F2 for semitone and Ctrl+F3/F4 for octave works well too.
-Interpolate feature, e.g. Ctrl+G evenly spreads out values between the selection's starting and ending points.

Apologies if those are already implemented.

Quick question about FM: What operator algorithm should I pick for making 2-operator instruments such as those used by the VRC7?

Lastly, is importing module files from TFMMaker/VGMMM out of the question?

Already implemented. Ctrl+F1/F2 semitones, Ctrl+F3/F4 octaves. It is explained in the manual.

Already implemented, Ctrl+I interpolate selected values.

On the YM2612 or in the YMU759?, I am asking this because YMU759 has a 2-operators mode. If you are talking about the YM2612, you should use alg 4, and set the last 2 operators to a mute state.
In that way you will use only the first two, and just like in the olds 2 operators FM soundchips.

Shiru never released the file format specs, and I doubt he ever will... And unfortunately I do not have enough time to reverse engineer TFM/VGM module format.

I'm really sorry about those first two questions. I feel embarrassed now. :x

And yeah I did mean with the Genesis. Thanks!

Here's another bug that happens both with the GameBoy and SMS (including the PSG in Genesis mode): A#5 (SMS) and A#6 (GB) sound exactly the same as B-5 and B-6, respectively.

wow thanks for the info on how to make 2 operator instruments, it really helped me out too since I'm used to VRC7 waaaay too much. I need to make a few songs with 2 operator instruemtns and then "expand" them.
