Yes the buffering seems fine. I haven't come across any issue yet. Also, that update to 4.0 was fast. Now If I can just put down Dark Souls long enough, I can begin on a cover in my free time.

The rom exporting feature is really nice, but me and my pal need to know where the actual music data is found in exported genesis files because it would be a hassle to write music for a game in compiler.

Also, the noise seems to have disappeared from this song when I exported it

There are some "strange" problems with the SN76489 noise mode, I will re-write the note triggerer of this chip in some days, and the problem would be fixed.

I forgot to say that the noise problems of the SN76489 in DefleMask 4.0 were already solved.

So, you should re download DefleMask 4.0 to obtain the lastest fixed version.

PS: NICE TUNE!.

That's good to hear, although I don't think you should keep releasing updates so often, I can't keep up with them at all!
I guess it's fine if it's a fix for a major bug or something, but otherwise, I DON'T WANT TO SEE another update for at least a week :D

xD
If a update takes a lot of time, then the users will complain, and if the updates takes only days, then the users will complain too. Strange...

The explanation is:
If there is a major update, I will change the DefleMask version(4.1, or maybe to 5.0 if the update is huge).
So, if you read "4.0 update" or "4.0 hot fix", this is only a bug-cleaned or I only added some small new features.

However, I recommend to download DefleMask to only replace the exe file if a small update is present.

But, btw, this is the last hot-fix for the 4.0, the next version should be released for Linux/Mac, with more effects columns and with instrument envelopes for NO-FM instruments, FTM importing, NES support, and etcs. And this will take time.

Regards.

Hmm, if you're trying to include NES support, you should make the 15 default VRC7 patches available for use, it should be possible as there is only a carrier and a modulator wave in those

First I will add only NES 2A03 support only, then the expansions.

However, I am thinking that would be better add GameBoy support rather than NES. Doesn't exist a good tracker for GB for PCs.

Gameboy support? That sounds interesting. FT is good enough for NES so I say go for GB.

I said "good tracker for GB for PC". :P

Paragon 5 lacks most of the "standard" features of a chiptune PC tracker, effects, mouse control, actual ROM exporting, etc.

Yeah!. But DefleMask will be Cross-Platform on next version, so maybe a native tracker for NES for Linux/Mac OS would be nice too. However, I think that I will go for GB in first place.

And thus begins the campaign to make DefleMask Tracker the ultimate tracker of everything ever in existence that has the capability of producing sound.

Well, that is almost imposible. :P

I should be fine supporting all the soundchips of the VGM 1.61 format (Genesis, SMS, GB, NES, YM2151, etc). :D
