Dude are you seriously adding all of those systems? Won't Deflemask be using too much CPU resources that some people won't even be able to use it?
DefleMask does not emulate all the systems at the same time, when you switch the systems, the emulation of the current system is stopped and the new system emulation is started. Just the ways it should be.
Some systems require more calculations, for example the YM2612 require more CPU than the Game Boy's Z80, this is true, but DefleMask ONLY executes the SELECTED system, no both.
So, adding 80 systems will not use 80 times more CPU. That will be extremely ridiculous.

RAM?, dudes, adding a system does not need so much RAM. :D The emulation's code of a system in memory is very very tiny.
I should add 40000 systems more or less in order to use 128mb of RAM. xD
And if I reach that count of systems, I could add a HD swap process in order to save RAM. But I have too much time before adding 40000 systems, so I am not worry. xD

Btw, I agree with jrlepage in that you should make sure all systems so far are bug free (or close enough that you can say it is at least) and they also have all effects added before focusing on adding more systems.

Exactly this. I would rather have an incredibly solid Genesis, Gameboy and the other FM chips it currently has rather than a massive sprawling tracker that can handle many more chips but is a pain in the ass to use. The ability to export to GBS rather than VGM when tracking for Gameboy would be amazing too.
Hey, I do not know why are you saying that the support of the current supported systems are not solid. Maybe there are some undiscovered bugs out there, but I think that Genesis/SMS/YMU759/GameBoy in DefleMask are very solid. There are so much things to add, this is true and a programmer never finish his software, but remember that this is a project with only 1 year of work. It is a baby compared to others projects out there. :D

But it's the small things that matter, you'll find... Things like the missing octave in the SN76489, lack of GBS export, lack of arpeggiator and pitch envelope in the instrument editor, missing effects that would make things easier (though none spring to mind immediately)... That sort of thing is what we're on about!
All of that stuffs are already in the todo list for the 5.2, wait some more days. :D

Ok, the formula was right, the problem was the octave limit for the SMS, it was set on 6 and 7 for SEGA Genesis. Check out that in GENESIS mode, you could use one more octave for the SN76489, but in SMS mode, you only can reach octave 6. This is fixed btw.
I'm pretty sure SNES support wouldn't be easy because you would need the samples from every SNES game in existance in the tracker. I think. Plus the SPC700 is crap anyway, you might as well write a midi with limitations. That's basically all that chip is.
As long as it's solid...you need to add SNES support. This would instantly become the tracker of my dreams.
There's an XM to SPC converter. I used it to convert this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVkHtP-2DkI which had SNES samples to begin with (I lost the module and SPC unfortunately but it sounded nearly identical) The samples have some weird limitations, which is why I'm glad I didn't have to mess with them.
I'm not that interested in the SPC700, but I'm curious about it, if that makes any sense. What sets it apart from other sample-based systems and sound chips has always been a bit of a mystery to me... I know there's built-in reverb, but surely there must be more to it than that... Why else would so many people be interested in it? Moreover, why else would there be so little support for it?
