I am thinking in releasing a fast 5.1 version, without the working on Arpeggio Envelopes/Duty Envelopes/ROM Builder. Now that features will be released next with the 5.2 release. What do you think?.
Due to some fast news and a bug in the noise Channel of the Game Boy. DefleMask 5.1 is released at light speed!.
01: Now the volume column will decrease the current envelope!.
02: Now you can use higher frequencies in the Noise Channel of the Game Boy (a bug in the freq formula was causing a lowered range of frequencies).
03: Lowered the contrast of the envelopes textures in the Default skin.
04: Some errors in the manual fixed.
05: Fixed a bug when you load a file from the file explorer of the host OS.
Another thing, 8xx for panning seems to be broken. 801 will put it exclusively on the right speaker, 810 exclusively on the left, and all other 8xx values are just silence. Even 800 is silence, meaning panning can't be ended.
oh ho ho, sorry about that. I figured there would be varying degrees of panning on Gameboy but I guess not! thanks for the info (maybe a line about the specifics of Gameboy panning effects in the Gameboy section of the readme?)

Yeah, however it is wrong that different values simply turn off the channel, so thanks to your report I re-uploaded DefleMask 5.1 so now different values will simply reset the panning. And I updated the manual, so the default behavior of the Panning is:
01 Right
10 Left
11 Both
And if some system has a different behavior of the Panning, that behavior needs to be explained on the "Behavior" part of the manual of the system (like in the YMU759 Behavior part).
Btw, I just discovered that the switch mode to Game Boy were not properly working, DefleMask was in Genesis mode and it does not switched to GB, so, I fixed that bug and I decided to include with DefleMask this track with the default modules. I love it. :D

Ah, thanks for doing that. That's the problem I was getting when I thought my module had corrupted (it was just in the wrong mode). Glad to know it's been fixed!
Thanks for fixing up the noise channel too! I might attempt some more stuff with Deflemask in the future. Also, what you said about volume commands scaling with envelopes would be very handy too!
