It's good. I always liked Metropolis Zone.

Could you replace the noise channel with all DPCM samples, though? And some of the note lengths are way shorter than the original.

As a side note, why aren't there more VRC7 Sonic covers? I know the point of covering a 16-bit song in FamiTracker isn't to completely recreate the sound, but Sonic music for me owes so much of it's appeal to its awesome FM sounds.

Hey pretty cool. Can use a bit of polish but pretty good overall I think.

MrFTBN: I agree about FM covers. I don't hear many of those. Not even I do them, I mostly stick with 2a03.

I changed the wrong note at the end of frames 1-4, added in an echo effect in frames 5-6, changed some of the notes' volumes, and took out the noise and made the drums purely DPCM. What do you guys think?

I honestly think this needs work. For example, why do you use the same C-4, C-4, G-3 pattern in Square 1 when it's supposed to alternate to C-4, C-4, C-4?
Also what's with the custom builds? Especially since you're just using a sawtooth wave, this could just have easily been done using VRC6 <cough>Dan<cough>. Would much rather see a GB style cover without DPCM.

^In my edit, I changed the note at the end. Also, I didn't want the cover to be too similar to Dan's.

Sounding pretty good. Main thing is I think it still needs the noise channel in addition to the DPCM (although nothing as heavy-handed as what you had there before). It seems kinda dry without it.

That sounds a bit better. Still could use some work, but definately better.
