I know that if I use DPCM samples in the DPCM channel, it affect the Triangle & Noise channel volume. These two channels become more silent when DPCM is played.
If I put a "Note-off" (***) in the DPCM channel, the volume is louder in the Triangle & Noise channel. Next time I put a DPCM in the DPCM channel, the voulme decrease again.
Then I thought that if I make a short silent DPCM, I could use it to decrease the Triangle & Noise channel. Check out this example tune:

As it is now in the song, I first start off by playing a silent DPCM. In the middle of the first pattern i start the bassdrum. When the first bassdrum is played, the noise & triangle become more silent. I would like to be able to have them more silent from the begining, without having to play a bassdrum.
That is right, triangle and noise are affected by DPCM.
It is actually possible to change volume manually by setting the DPCM-level, but it is not supported in the tracker right now. One way could be to use the unused volume column in the DPCM channel for that.
Go into your instrument settings, click the "DPCM samples" tab. You are going to map your samples to a certain note, but first you have to load them (or create new ones if you don't have any yet). Use the import button to convert a short .wav sound clip into a .dmc file. Once you have a .dmc file you want to use, you're ready to "load". Then click on a key, like C, then click down below where it says "no sample" and select the sample. You just assigned a sample to the "c" note in the DPCM channel (in whatever octave you have selected). Every time you play that note, it will play that sample.
