Hai :o (I'm terrible at introductions )

I have never used any program to compose music with (besides Mario Paint if that counts...) Then I found Famitracker two years ago, but I've only started to really get serious about tracking last month. :U So here I am. I like/listen to a lot of game music so I thought that creating it would be an interesting experience.

I have made a few covers to start with, so I could get more familiar with the interface, and last week I managed to compose my first "original" song.

That's what I have attached here. I think I did ok :o The original is in VRC6 but I updated it with some more stuff in VRC7. Enjoy.

Welcome to the FamiTracker forums! :D

Wow, and what an introductory piece of music! Sounds like you already know your way round the software.

Just one tiny suggestion: in the VRC6 version, the sawtooth lead starting at frame 05 could use some vibrato.

Excellent job~~

You know, I'd like to see what you can do with more DCPM use.
It would probably sound better than professional average.

B-b-b-b-b-bump!

Made the VRC6 version's bass have a 1channel echo!

I should have posted before, but this song is awesome!

Well, moviemovies, if you're gonna do that...(great stuff btw)
I went ahead and added DPCM drums! Modified the triangle a little bit to complement them.

I also fixed some dissonance between the two bass parts in places, and added some chorusing. Truth be told, it's TOO fat on the bottom end now.

There was some stuff I wanted to do to dress up the melody, but eh...I've done enough

It is a really cool song, shywolf, and I hope you don't mind that we've screwed around with it.

I discovered that the last frame had an error!
The bass on SQ1 on VRC6 was not the same notes as the one on SQ1 in the 2A03. It is fixed now.
