Hi there! I'm new here. Sorry for my english. I wrote the tune in famitracker yesterday. Actually I'm not chip-tune musician. I write music in different styles in cubase, ableton and reason. Chip music is my love from childhood. I just tried to understand how it works. Thanks to the famitracker for this opportunity! To my shame, I could not do triplets. I use triplets in almost all my projects.
Thank you!
Triplets tend to be done as such:
X-3
X-3 G02
X-3 G04

Thanks! I read about this method. As I understand, it works, if the tempo of 150 bpm. My tune is 170. I'll try it in my future projects.
This is quite good! I guess now you're a chiptune musician. +1 for the pattern drawing.
Thank you, but this is my really first experience. I heard about trackers a week ago. I usually work in cubase. Explore famitracker is an enjoyable experience.
If you're finding trackers at all attractive, you should try out some other chip music trackers for other formats, like Mod2PSG (MasterSystem), TFM Maker (Sega MegaDrive/Genesis), Vortex Tracker II (AY-3-8190), or RASTER Music Tracker (Atari 800). There's also GoatTracker (Commodore 64), but I'd stay away from that one for the time being. :p
This tune you did is a fantastic chiptune debut, much unlike my own (although to be fair, that was MML, my first experience with famitracker was this). Keep up the good work mate!

I record (some) NSFs on hardware. Feel free to request a hardware render.
Ditto everything that was already said, this is good stuff man. Where can I find some of your other work? The stuff with cubase.
edit: nvrmnd, checked ur profile. keep forgetting i can do that...
Okay, some my tracks you can listen here - http://soundcloud.com/timeisup . In my profile was a link to my old stuff. This is not so interesting, I think.
Very different music. symphonic orchestra, electronic dance music and so on. I don't know what music good for you. Thank you for your interest.

Okay, of course, I'll try these trackers in the future, but I'm already scared.
I like your tunes, and your cover Adventure Island. (triplets awesome ) This is great!!! I studied famitracker on this stuff! Happy to listen to more of your work.
