I was experimenting with vocals using the FDS channel. This time it's much more simple than my last test, but since the song is complete complete gibberish, I guess it doesn't matter.

One line means note cut. That stops the sound dead.
Two lines mean note release. That activates the release envelope or, in the case of the VRC7, the release section of the ADSR envelope.
You can assign a key to both of these by going into File > Configuration and changing the shortcuts at the lower right corner of the window.
