I was wondering how do you get eight, hole etc notes/rests into the sequencer.
How would you transition them from sheet music to the sequencer is a better way to put it.
You need to note that a speed of 6 & tempo of 150 is the same as 4/4 time, one frame is the same as one bar of music notation & that each line in the frame is a 64th note's worth of time.
At least that's my understanding of it.

Actually, with the default of 64 rows per frame, that'd be 4 bars of 4 beats per pattern.
As for transferring sheet music, there is a ton of styling that can be done with enveloping (either with the Axy effect or instrument definitions) and with phrasing through note cut offs (again either with Sxx or instrument definitions). So you better have a very good idea of the style of the piece before attempting to transfer to an .ftm. (not to mention vibrato )
An eight note would be 2 rows long, quarter 4 rows, dotted 8th is 3 rows. 8 note triplets would be:
Note
Note G02
Note G04
---
If you're at default speed of 6 (with the constant of 150 tempo since apparently messing with that leads to uneven tempi)
If you're doing something in 6/8, change the rows per frame from 64 to 48.
Umm, it's pretty unusual to start on row01 instead of 00. But as far as spacing you're right on target.
I think honestly the quickest way to get to learn famitracker is to load other people's .ftms

I only used one because it was easier to count.
Is it ok to start on 1 for projects or well it mess the timing up or something. If not I well always do it. btw thanks and thanks for the link.
It would? You'd just have to take into consideration that every pattern starts with a pickup and ends with an incomplete measure. Hell, the Beethoven we're playing this semester has a Bxx with a starting note on row 02 (well, 04 since it's in 3/4)
(oldschool Bxx is often called a repeat sign :P )
