Yep i am another contributor of the request threads... A day, you'll be flooded by all of them... Anyway:

Modify the hardware sweep code so you can change sweep settings while "sweeping" instead of retriggering the note (hum Chibi-Tech may like this change);

Add other NES hardware control, such: linear counter (triangle), envellope control & loop (square 1 & 2 + noise)...

I have intentionally skipped support for hardware envelopes simply because I think those are completely useless.

If you have an idea why you would want to use those (that cannot be done in software) then please tell.
The same goes for the linear counter, is really short triangle tones of any use?

Changing the sweep code shouldn't be hard, I'll look on it.

Hum, I think the Triangle linear counter is useful, some click effects are only possible with that, and if someone want to cover music from Konami for example, this could be done only by this linear counter...

for the others, well, I don't know, but well, if it is not too hard to impleement, this could be another way to simply sound like the good ol' classic NES style (SMB, Bomberman etc.)

Well, I think any sound a NES/Famicom could make should be implemented into FamiTracker sooner or later (like the Famicom Disk System's wavetable channel, which I don't think anyone suggested yet, aside from the otehr sound chips)... even if it seems useless, I'm sure someone might find a reason to have it. Either way, I'd be really interested in seeing those hardware controls in a future release, if possible ^_^d.
