I just completed my first track and exported it to .NSF, and the sound is completely different from the tracker. There are huge timing issues and it generally sounds like crap. Any idea what I might do to fix this? I'm not new to trackers, but I've just started doing NES assembly so I don't really know all that much about the console yet.

I've attached the track if anyone is interested or could help!

Sounds the same to me. What version of FamiTracker are you using?

Is there anything wrong with this nsf?

Thanks, but ah..

I figured the problem out right away...
It was an empty line with instrument 00 on it. Made the entire track skip. It still sounds awful on the NES with the built in .NES export, but maybe that's just the exporter?

Edit: Welp, guess it just sounds awful on SOME emulators. VirtuaNES plays it just fine while fceux makes the noise channel very high-pitched and useless.
