Hello guys,

-I'm making music on Famitracker.
-I have a modified PAL nes (stereo output + a third output for vrc6)
-I have a powerpak.

When I play 2A03/2A07 songs on it, it's perfect (I can export the nsf in PAL or ntsc, it doesn't change anything).

But when I play VRC6 songs, they are slower/out of tune.

Is there a way I could play VRC6 songs on my PAL nes without this problem ?

You'll have to increase the frequency on the NSF file. If you're playing a VRC6 NTSC NSF, the song will play off key; that means you'll have to either export the NSF to PAL or do a hardware tweak to your stereo amp (but I'm sure there are better ways).

VRC6 never existed for PAL so there are no period tables for PAL in exported NSFs. You'd need to change the period table but there is no easy way to do that now. I might add a solution for this soon now when it's possible to use powerpak VRC6 on PAL.

Easy solution: buy a NTSC NES on eBay. They're not [i]that[/i] expensive, and you don't risk ruining your PAL NES, your Powerpak OR wasting hours trying to make everything work. :p
