(The Turbo CD Lemmings covers are still being worked on, but this is my main priority ATM, so yeah.)
I didn't feel like bumping my old Lemmings cover topic for this, so... here's a bunch of 8-bit remakes of tunes from the Genesis/Mega Drive port of Lemmings.
Like my Turbo CD ports, I went for a Sunsoft-y feeling with these. I used the Regen emulator to disable the sound channels so the results were as accurate as possible. (I used the VRC6 chip to simulate the FME-7 chip - I might switch over if support for it is ever added.)
This .NSF contains complete versions of Cancan, Doggie, Lemmings 1-3, Mountain, TenLemmings, and Tims 1 and 2, plus a very WIP version of Tim 10. I don't have an NSF player to test it on right now, so forgive me if some of the instruments are too loud.
I can't vouch for the accuracy considering I never played the MD version, but I liked your renditions. Tims 1 and 2 sound nice. My favorite piece in Lemmings was the Rondo alla Turca though, kinda bummed it's not here.
All I have to say is that when I loaded this thread, I was listening to Michael Jackson's Man In The Mirror, and Midna, your avatar dances at precisely the same tempo as that song.
