On my new website, http://www.tadpolemusic.us, there are links to a bunch of my nsfs, as well as FTM source files to a couple of my newer songs. Come check it out.
I also plan on using the website to showcase a different talented chip musician each month. Also, possibly tutorials and articles. C&C welcome. Thanks,
-tadpole
Tadpole, where can I find instructional material for more advanced 2a03 composition techniques?
(Edit: Actually, this question goes out to everyone... What should I read? I'm willing to put in the work... I want to really understand how this stuff works.)
TechEmporium, it already is fully functional with players, you just have to click on each song, and it brings up a player and some info, and a place where you can comment. By the way, thank you, your website was very helpful to me when I was implementing the NSF player!
JeffC, glad you're interested in advanced techniques and mastering control of the 2a03! How I learned was by studing MML files, also when I heard a sound I really like, I always made sure to figure out how to do it myself. There are people that will help you out if you have any specific questions. Feel free to email me any time.
I've also noticed you use your e-mail address straight on your website. I'm a bit of a security junkie when it comes to leaving e-mail links where spam bots can crawl them, so I personally use a PHP script to automate e-mails with greater security:
I would share the FTM if one existed. It was written in PPMCK, not Famitracker. The MML file is on my site. You can figure out the notes and envelopes I'm using from there.
