I thought this actually came out kind of good. I did make that "Today is Backwards Day" song, but I think that I'd count this as my first real 2600hz composition.

EDIT: Woops, I didn't notice one of the channels got canceled out. I also made the Saw channel a bit louder.
Redownload for the fixed version.

Oh, that's very nice. Isn't using one of the squares for not percussion cheating though? :P

...This song makes all sorts of no sense to me. Like, it defies logic. Square channels are noise, noise channels are square, up is down, black is white, dogs are getting along with cats. This is mind boggling. Absolutely mind boggling.

No emulator can play this as an NSF file. Nintendulator comes closest by playing it too fast, where every other emulators plays it too slow.

Would this require an overclocked NES?

If you have the time to figure out how to over-clock or throttle an NES, then by all means do so (& send me an e-mail on how you did it)!

FamiTracker cannot emulate high clock speeds. Let's take any song and increase the clock speed gradually to find out where FamiTracker start to slow down the song:

(progress)

...FamiTracker fails with a clock speed smaller than 17Hz... (1000000 ÷ 16 > 65535)

...FamiTracker works well under 1.35KHz... (1000000 ÷ 1350 ~= 741)

...and then starts to slow down.

Might want to find out the rate of slowing down later.
