And considering that accidentally bumping a poorly-placed wheel on a piece of hardware isn't anything to do with deliberately setting the tempo to too fast a speed without noticing anything wrong, I wouldn't even consider this worth arguing for.
The problem at hand is that there's a bug that triggers itself every time a MIDI user would use a pitch-bending mechanism on a MIDI keyboard, either by accident or on purpose.
