Here's the first cover I did using famitracker, I think I got the notes pretty spot on. I'm not too sure about the instruments though.
Any advice on how to improve would be great :D

there is no advice other than trial-and-error with the arsenal:

NSFplay, NSF2MIDI, MIDI event viewer, foobar2000 GEP, NSF Live!, some others which I forgot

your mileage may vary

Continuing with the off topic-ness, I'll throw in my old (old) pictionary cover, the title theme actually. Keep in mind it's insanely inaccurate.
