Oh look, someone else does something on this forum that's Homestuck related. Well, at least Shades is. Which is pretty cool. Though... Oddly done, to say the least, what with how the sustained notes are done and all that. Overall, it seems to work, just not how I would've done it.

Exactly his point; nintendude8's trying to tell you to stop using Caps Lock on your keyboard when posting on forums (because it gets on some users' nerves when they read a topic in pure capital letters).

I think he was being sarcastic, but yes, people for some reason get annoyed by caps, probably because it's usually a way to show that you're yelling.
Also about your songs, I really like your sense of chords (or whatever you would call it) and how they progress through the song. But sometimes the songs get a little weird.
