Thanks for a great tracker but...
I made a song, however, whenever I try to export it to nsf the max length the song will go is 2:02. I can play it in famitracker fine but when I play the nsf with winamp it only goes up to 2:02 (my song is longer than that.) I read around on the forums and tried tinkering with stuff like Enable Bank Switching and stuff but it still didn't work. If you need my ftm file tell me and I'll upload it. Thanks
That means you probably use Nezplug... And this is not Famitracker's fault.
Check preferences in your winamp > plug-ins > input > Nezplug [in-nes.dll] then double-click on this.
Edit the file that opens, just change playback time (default is 2:02).
If you're using a different plug-in, use same method, check and change playback preferences!
it didn't solve my problem. i've tried to export two tracks of mine to nsf and play them in winamp with notsofatso.
the first track is actually about two minutes in length and the default setting had it displayed on winamp at 2:02 which i've learned to change but it will only play the first 21 seconds and then stop itself at the end of the bar. the other track is longer and stops playing at 1:01, also at the end of a bar.
i don't understand and would appreciate any help anyone can offer because i want to convert this stuff so badly.
If there's any period of silence, that'd be your problem there. You could just check off "play indefinitely" and stop your NSF by yourself if you really needed to see it work.
