FOR 0.3.6. BETA 3

Testing Audio Overload which I haven't been touching for a long time due to its incompatibility without the Cheat Engine.

And yes, this is from The Wily Wars.

Any suggestion of a better FM snare would be greatly appreciated.

I actually made this in 0.3.6. Beta 3, so...

Yes, FamiTracker is always erratic. If one doesn't work, however, one other should work.

I have tried in 0.3.6 beta 3 something to write, then have opened in the same version and such bug has detected. The main thing, that this bug only at use VRC7 appears.

To open in 3.6 beta you have to open famitracker first, then open the file IN famitracker. Just double-clicking the file from windows explorer results in a crash.

Glad I'm not the only one who seems to have encountered this problem.

Actually, to solve the problem of crashing FamiTracker on double-clicking a file, you have to remove all file associations that your previous version of the program had with FTM files.

Open any folder in Windows & go to Tools > Folder Options. In the File Types tab, search for & delete the entry for FTM files.

Then, to re-associate FTM files to the newer version of FamiTracker, simply run the newer version of FamiTracker (in other words, instead of running 0.3.5, run 0.3.6 beta x to associate FTM files to 0.3.6 beta x).

This should ensure that the FTM files don't crash on double-click.

You're assuming that people keep old versions (and that they're using windows XP). Just to make sure that wasn't the problem, I erased my file type for FTM and re-associated it with FT 3.6 beta (3.6 Beta didn't actually associate .ftm files itself)... and this file still crashes. Certain files crash if you double-click them in FT 3.6 beta3. I actually saved a file once and then tried to re-open it immediately afterward... and it behaved the same way.

Well, at least I had something right with XP.

I'm too ghetto to afford a new computer, but if I had one, I'd seriously try a fix. Then again, it looks like it's up to JSR to solve the problem.

When I tried to associate FTM files to the latest beta, FamiTracker still showed up in the menu, but it RANDOMLY gave me 0.3.0. or 0.3.5.

Looks like I am going to remove them first before associating FTMs to 0.3.6. beta 1.

EDIT: And look 800th post
