I have a couple questions. I can't find low notes on my keybaord. I thought about going and getting my midi controller from my friend, but I'd rather have something more simple, I'd like to use my keyboard, or, if anyone knows of a digital midi controller? like one that runs off your computer but would be detected by programs and run as if it were a keyboard? Either that, or if someone could tell me how to get the low notes on a compputer keyboard, that'd work too.

ummm... well i'm kinda new to this too, but as far as i know, the f2 through f9 keys will select octaves 0-7 so press f2 then the lowest note would be c0 which you input with the "z" key. however the square channels stop at a2, i think ("n" key in f4 octave) which is kind of weird (and unfortunate as i was trying to write as song today and i needed an f#2 so instead i had to transpose the entire song up half a step). i hope this answers your question. i don't know anything about midi controllers.
