I know that i said in my last topic that i would work on Tetris 1 Music C. Well, i tried that, and got bored, then went on to attempting other projects, most of which failed. So finally, i went for something simple. X-D

He means that there's still lots to do if you want to make an exact cover of this theme. nicetas_c has a discerning ear for accuracy when it comes to tracking NES music.

You have just seen one of the rarest emotions from my speech.
And depending on the complexity, the triangle channel instead of the noise channel should be omitted because the noise channel does not use any fancy hardware decays i.e. NSFplay E#s while the triangle uses the ugly linear counter.
Observations on foobar2000's spectrogram indicates that each triangle note lasts for approximately 7.8 frames under 60 Hz, or in other words, 0.13 seconds. (except those guys who argue that only ( 1000000 รท 16666 ) Hz is present and that 60 Hz is impossible for NES/NSF emulation)
[color=lime]The actual duration of each note is 7.75 frames under 60 Hz, or 31 frames under 240Hz which you SHOULD prefer over 60 Hz. (envelopes have to be quadrupled though)
Nonetheless I see a trend of using 'nicetas rage' everywhere people make covers. Impressive.
On a side note, there are MANY soundtracks easier than SMB1.
