Dude; I swear, this is one of the best Sega covers for the NES I've ever heard.
Your volume control for the VRC7 channels is a bit louder than the original, but it's still a good cover.[/quote]
You opened it with the newest beta of 3.6 (beta 3) right?
I made this in beta 2 (I think) and it sounded fine, but I just tried it with beta 3 and the volumes sounded all off. The patches sounded a little different too. All these different betas are starting to confuse me...
I might make a version that sounds better with beta 3 later, but for now I recommend you open it with beta 2.

Yeah; I opened it in beta 3 (& I personally find that VRC7 in all versions of FamiTracker has always been buggy, namely because of the lack of information behind the actual hardware's mixing volume).
No matter; it's still amazing. But I haven't exported the NSF & tried it in Nestopia or NSF Live yet (for all I know, the exported NSF might sound better than it does in beta 3).

Technology: the one thing that's hated & cursed at by all engineers, technologists, scientists & technicians!
@TechEmporium Yeah, I actually tried exporting it to NSF and the VRC7's volume was a lot louder when I played it in VirtuaNSF. When I played it in NSFLive the volume was about the same as FamiTracker 0.3.6 beta 2 (probably because they were both made by JSR). And now the new beta of FamiTracker has the volume somewhere in between the two. It seems as though no one can agree on the proper volume for the VRC7...
@nicetas_c Putting a zero by itself on the VRC7 will instantly cut the note (like I wanted), however it doesn't actually mute the note; it only turns the volume way down so that it's almost inaudible (unless you turn your speakers up). The only way to completely mute the note is to use a note cut, but putting one by itself gives a sort of gradual fade-out. I've found that the best way to cut a note instantly on the VRC6 is to put a zero followed by a note cut.
