Yes; I'm at it again. It's time for everyone on the internet to yell "NOOOOOOOOOOO!" :P
I'm making yet another full-scale OST... I hope this new one will prove that I actually learned something after the whole time I was on this forum. This will probably be my last OST because I have a life outside of cyberspace that's getting more & more busy. But who knows...
For those who will remember my last OST (Warlord's Realm 2,) the closing credits ended in a dark mood that would otherwise not suit a credit roll theme. This was done in case I wanted to make a third OST (to start from where the second one left off).
For those who aren't familiar with any of my OSTs, here are the latest ones:
Attached is a preview of the 3 songs I have so far (using the MMC5 expansion chip with only one single instrument. I intend to add more samples as I go, but I'm only using two as of now).
I'm open to any opinions & critiques. Hell; you can go ahead & re-track the songs into something you feel is much better.

I don't quite understand what you mean by the 480/500/516 sheets you're talking about. If you want, you can lock this thread & I'll post this on the previous thread I did before.

I just noticed this in the NSF now! Man, am I slow... Bloody keyboard.
Ah, well; at least that was a good laugh for a few days... It's been fixed now.
And I also decided to use one of ElHuesudoII's unfinished songs & incorporate it into this track.
His unsettling march sounds pretty good & I think it was worth using. For obvious reasons, I also included his name in the composers' information (since I'm not a lamer when it comes to this).
So, here's what I have now:
1. My intro; starting from where the previous tune left off.
2. A WIP theme for either a final fanfare or an entry into a royal court.
3. ElHuesudoII's unsettling march (with my own addition); I was thinking of using it as a theme for a shop, but now I think it has greater potential.
4. The main traveling theme (partially inspired by my Forest theme used in my previous track & partially inspired from my entry in kinkinkijkin's 16-instrument contest, a song which I also intend to use as my closing credits theme).
5. A minor boss combat theme (using the track I made for my one-instrument contest).
Others songs will appear in due course. Any critique is appreciated (& please don't leave me hanging the next time I ream that warlord again). :P

it appears as though NSF file export glitches out in FamiTracker 0.3.0 when the NSF reaches a certain size; my DMC samples died after export when the NSF became 32.1 KB in size.
I decided to export the NSF using FamiTracker 0.3.6 Beta 3 & the problem was solved (but my FTM file's still compatible with 0.3.0).
I've added a desert theme, ElHuesudoII's Unsettling Waltz & another incomplete song that's currently experimental.

Well there's some good stuff in there. I especially liked your minor boss battle. But if you're up for some constructive criticism, I'll say this: your music could be improved (like really improved) if your harmony would be less static. By varying your harmony (chords), you would attain bigger climax in your song. For example, in your minor boss battle, try to change your bass pattern to something that start on G#, and adapt your melody so that it fit. Furthermore, you will naturally want to change the percussion to go with the feel of the chord change. You have some good ideas, and I'm convinced that a little harmonic effort would really help your song and do justice to your musical material. Cheers.
Edit: I meant "in your minor boss battle, try to change your bass on pattern four to something that start on G#, and adapt your melody so that it fit".
Thanks for the suggestion, man (it seems like you're the only one who noted this track & suggested something). I'll try that as soon as I can. I'm just stumped at how I can improve the percussion & especially the bass.
How would you exactly recommend that I do this (& don't be afraid to modify my FTM in any way)?
