It is obviously not a mystery one for many of you have known this one already, and it's cover cannot be inaccurate!
This is somehow an advertisement for jsr's NSF player NSF Live! .

nicteas_c; you have an old version of NSF Live for download.
But yeah; I've honestly never heard this song before.

Wow... What a horrible ending to an endless game. :P
But yeah; that's a clever way of playing a constant tune in the DPCM channel.

Wow a full DPCM song. They are very exotic.
I think that the tempo should be 152/2, otherwise the loop would begin too fast or too slow.
PD: There is an error in the link to NSF Live!, a <br /> makes it impossible to download directly.

Not only that, but that copy of NSF Live is an older version than what's already available. I can tell because this version of NSF Live won't be able to open any NSF file of Action 52 containing the intro. :P

I guess we all prefer the retro feel of things.
But yeah; I was trying (& failed miserably) to achieve something similar (except using a sound bite from Father Ted).

Oh yes, it should be the original NSF .
This is what you get from Anvil Studio's event list (or any other MIDI editor's one) after exporting a MIDI with NSF2MIDI for 13 seconds where its version doesn't matter:

Take a look at the bolded rows. If you test that NSF yourself, you should also find that the durations 115, 110 and 109 repeat perpetually.
Oh yes, I did forget to tell you guys that this is a cover of a cover.
