So I decided I would try something a little different. I was browsing the interweb the other day and found some of the unused music from Super Double Dragon. I guess the game was released unfinished and some of the songs and scenes from the planned version never made it in. Anyways, one of them was an unused ending theme and I was trying to convert it to Famitracker. I only got the first frame done but I am having trouble picking up the notes from there. So my post is kinda two fold, I want help figuring out the rest of the song, and also advice on making it sound nice with the limitation of the orginal NES sound (two squares triangle and noise). Anyone have any advice and/or help, thanks.
Here's the Second Frame and Square 2. Added a bit of volume effects to make it sound nice, but I would recommend playing with the Triangle to get the harmony on the left hand and get a better sound.
Yes, that actually helps a ton. I knew the key the song was in but was having trouble coming up with the notes. You're right that once I add the tri wave the song will sound more "warm." I just wanted to see what this song would sound like if on an nes. We shall see....thanks again.
