FamiTracker
This one-instrument "wonder" was actually the third piece that I've ever made in FamiTracker. I was trying to make a Tetris song that could go well with Damian Yerrick's LJ65 Tetris clone (which included some songs, other than Korobeiniki & Troika, that Damian had otherwise said were all copyrighted... In spite of the fact that two of the songs are technically considered public domain, thanks to their being created as patriotic songs for the Soviet Union).
The original work (which included my own version of Troika, Katyusha, Korobeiniki & Polyushko Polye,) originally had 6 instruments & was eventually abandoned. So, I revisited the file, removed all but a blank instrument, removed all songs except for one & modified it greatly (thanks to my greatly improved knowledge of the tracker).
So, check out the attachment; Polyushko Polye. If the FamiTracker 0.3.0 file doesn't open, download the NSF.
I know it's dissonant as it is & the noise channel is overpowering, though, so if anyone has any recommendations on it, please tell me.

Hm yes, that does have a distinct Tetris sound to it, but the noise channel is, as you mentioned, very overpowering. Other than that I wouldn't mind having this music in the background for some Tetris sessions.
