There is a easy way to down the volume of the DPCM channel without RELOAD all of the samples?.

Have you tried using the Zxx effect? It has the effect of clipping DPCM, noise & triangle waves (giving the illusion of decreased volume).

Use a Z7F in the DPCM channel, right when you play your sample. If you're not happy with it, you can always decrease the value of the Fxx effect.
