I was working on Proto Man's theme from MMIII and I got stuck in the first two frames (the intro and whistle). I can't seem to get the timing right when the second SQ and bass channel come in. I was going to post what I had but it didn't save so now I have to start over again. Anyways, I'll give it another try tomorrow and update but can anyone leave me any tips or help get me started until then? Thanks. (tempo 120 64 rows correct?)

He is asking for actual help on the theme, so this post should be under the Talk forum instead.

That said, the ideal tempo is 900BPM.

At least before you upload the file again, if you are not one of the very few people in the world who seeks for 900BPM madness.

So is this correct? I am trying to get better at the rational tempo but it always sounds a bit off to me. I hate not being good at it because I can't tell if I placed the notes incorrectly or if the timing is just weird.

OK, I finished the song. It's pretty close to the original. Some of the fades and bass stops may be off but I am just too sick of this song now to go back and fix every little detail like that. I can be happy with it as is right now. Also, I think the tempo is faster than the original as well. Anyways, enjoy. EDIT: Just realized I forgot to post a version with no zero in front for the bass. It changes the sound ever so slightly so I'm adding that ftm as well.
