A new song of mine! Please say what you think about it (good or bad). You don't need to tell me to learn to change the volume of notes, I rarely do it and I don't think it hurts my songs at all. If it hurts your ears just lower the volume yourself...

Vice versa: If you think the volume is too low, increase the volume so as to hurt your ears.
Anyway, the song has a good flow, but gets too generic as it goes.
Especially since there are not much work of dynamics, and all channels play at the same volume.
A good start would be to spread out your volume. Not everything has to be on full volume, and your dpcm samples don't have to be so overbearing, either.
Take a look at some pieces by other members on this site. On the ones with volume control, for the most part, full volume isn't being used. If everything's at F, not only does the output oftentimes sound obnoxious, but there's no clear idea of what you're supposed to be listening to.
If you want an idea of how [i]not[/i] to do it, you can just open up any old mp3 on 8bitcollective (preferably with LSDJ in the title) and get the general idea.
