There's a neat little effect that plays at the end of the Fester's Quest and Blaster Master game over theme that almost sounds like a moan sound. It's in the triangle wave.

I was wondering if anyone has tried to reproduce this in FT?

I made a midi of the NSF track, but the notes alone don't quite sound right. There is something else going on.

I remember there is a special register called the triangle linear counter, which can cut triangle notes between frames, and is not supported by FamiTracker.

In fact, NSFplay does not support custom engine speed, yet the Fester's Quest NSF is played normally.

Here is a simulation using 120Hz as the engine speed.

Just checked it with foo_gep.dll and found that there are five variations depending on the frame counter.

Also it goes at 240Hz, not 120Hz
