Considering how much of a Mega Man fan I am, I'd be remiss in my fandom duties if I didn't try to make a few covers of the music. That being said, since I'm still learning the basics of FamiTracker this will also be a good project for me to learn some more techniques, which could come in handy for original pieces later on.
Anyway, I hope to do a fair number of the pieces from Mega Man 9 since it's responsible for really getting me back into Mega Man a couple years ago. For starters, here's Wily Stage 1- Flash in the Dark. This was one of my favorites from the game, so hopefully what I have so far does it justice.
Questions/comments/concerns are all happily accepted and encouraged!

It sounds pretty good so far! Some of the note cuts sound a little too staccato in the triangle channel but it's nothing that detracts from the song.
I had started a project like this some time ago, and I still might finish it, but for now please feel free to use it as a reference. Looking forward to your future songs!
I do agree the triangle notes and some of the lead notes have several parts where it's a bit too staccato, I've been trying to figure out ways to remedy that situation... I'll come up with something I'm sure, I learn something new all the time with this program!
As for your compilation, wow! Great job, We're the Robots is fantastic. Well they all are really. Hopefully I can end up with something as good after some polishing. ^^

Sounds good, here's an Overdrive Scramble cover I did awhile back if you want it for reference or something.
Just watch about your lead, it sounds a bit quiet, and the SXX in the triangle is a bit quick. The toms near the end of the piece sound a bit off as well.
If you want TSSF made some really good covers about a year ago using older versions of famitracker. I would take a look at those to get a good idea on how to use the tracker as well.

Sivak (the author of Battle Kid: Fortress of Peril) also did one MM9 soundtrack and that one is the only one that contains tracks for all 8 robot masters.
Only fourth? Frankly I'm surprised lol, but I did figure it would be better to cover popular music rather than something obscure so I could get better feedback on it. Plus it was a lot of fun to hear this coming together piece by piece and starting to sound like the real thing.
Hopefully after some time this will be the second compilation with all 8 Robot Master themes. Those do provide plenty of variation for me to learn more techniques, so it would be to my advantage to cover them.
P.S.- I fixed the volume of the lead instruments, I didn't realize just how low I was setting them... they should be more prominent now, I've uploaded the updated file at the top of the thread. ^^

Sorry for the late reply, Sivak's is here and here.
My turn for a late reply. Sorry about this, school's been intense lately and Chem Thermo is a pain! Thanks much for all the links, I always enjoy checking out others' work. In between schoolwork, project work, my job, and [insert other duties here], I've been trying to get a cover of We're the Robots off the ground. Hopefully I can get that posted up here within the next week!
