Song #1: A pitch perfect cover of CV1 Prologue redone using A08s.
Song #2: An original CV1-styled song using A8Fs.
I am sure that many of you want to know what the Axy REALLY does (especially A08 and A8F), but I am not in the mood of explaining this early. Feedback is appreciated as always.
Also includes a test poll. Vote anything as you like.
You really nailed the style, awesome job. Think you could go for something more Heart of Fire based? I've always liked the faster paced CV songs more and I'm sure you have the talent to pull something like that off.
I also like the original. It's a smooth piece of work you did & very accurate.
Mind you, I like the use of A8F in the second track. I know you're not in the mood to explain it, so I might as well try it for myself & see what it does.

Technology: the one thing that's hated & cursed at by all engineers, technologists, scientists & technicians!
Each channel's initial volume is 7F. Any volume on the channel volume column resets the volume to multiples of 8. The Axy works like this: It first decreases the volume by x, and THEN increase it by y.
Therefore, A08 decreases the volume at the speed of exactly 1/frame, while A8F decreases the volume at the speed of 1/frame and halts when it reaches 1, thus effectively using it as a lead. A8F does not go at 1/frame when the channel volume is set to 9 or above, e.g. 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 2 1.
Notes:
1) The triangle and DPCM channel have no real channel volumes, so they are not discussed here.
2) The final result still has to be processed with the volume table and the 7xy index.

EDIT: Also, I am now nailing at Akumajou Densetsu (VRC6) for the sake of goodness.

Now doing 'Bloody Tears' CV3J-styled, and to make things a bit different, I chose the CVLegends version.
Believe it or not, some skills have been leaked out to Mini Vol. 7 AS ANOTHER CV-ESQUE EXPERIMENT. The 'Bloody Tears' is for real goodness, so I will take the CV3J period scale and fine pitch it as if I am doing a 100% accurate cover from CV3J.
