Hey there,
Now is where I do my first big project.
I am starting on Dirty Harry now that I have the NSF for it. The songs may need some modifications to make it sound more accurate.
1 - Title (Complete)
2 - Password (Complete)
3 - Streets (In Progress)
4 - Building (Complete)
5 - Sewers (Complete)
6 - Woman (Complete) *Fixed tuning a little.
7 - Warehouse (In Progress)
8 - Alcatraz (Complete)
9 - Boss (In Progress)
10 - Unknown 1 (In Progress)
11 - Unknown 2 (Complete)

September 20, 2010 - It's been updated with a couple songs.

Yeah, according to the NSF and it loops. I'll put the NSF up but if you want but it will only play correctly play in NSFPlay for some reason. My friend who ripped it said the sound driver was written horribly.
Here's what NSF play said for the envelopes:

Channel 1 - Channel 2 - Song Name
E5, E4 Woman
E5, E8 Title
E5, E8 Sewers
E0, E8 Password
E2, E8 Unknown 1
E5, E8 warehouse
E8, E12 Boss
E2, E4 Alcatraz
N/A triangle only - Unknown 2
E8, E12 Building
E9, E5 Streets

Haha. I just NSF2MIDI'd it and put it in Sonar and viewed the event list. An emulator's probably more accurate though, haha. Feel free to help on this soundtrack if you want.

Dirty Harry uses pitched notes, so a frequency register table is very likely to be needed.

I will help for the fine pitching if I have time.

This is good, so far! I've never even heard of this before, either. Can't wait to hear the end of it. If I have any constructive criticism to give later on, I'll do so, but I can't think of anything to criticize right now.

*Off Topic Question*

Since you're using NSFPlay, have you had any recent problems running this? It use to work on my PCs, but now, a Visual C++ runtime error always happens, and I can never get it to work anymore. And this happens on the Win98 PC, and the XP OS PC, both of which use to work. If you don't know, I'll just edit this post, so the topic doesn't derail.

Thanks!
And as for the error, I haven't got it but if I run NSFPlay itself, it crashers after a while but if I run it on Winamp, it doesn't crash.

I can't get NSFPlay to work on my computer period. I think it just hates me. It'll open the NSF, but I can't get anything to play.

Anyway, very nice work on your cover, it sounds really good. I've never even heard of this game though, so for all I know, your cover could be crap by comparison.(kidding!)

How about the foobar2000 1.0.x plug-in called something like foo_gep.dll?

Seeing that you have edited the post (even it is an irrevelant edit), I decided to bump a quite old topic AND double post at the same time.

This is the 240Hz simulation of the hardware envelope decays. Envelopes for E9 and above are too long to fit the sequence editor, but I did make a quick search in NESDEV nonetheless. How come I haven't done that months before?

Note that because the engine speed is quadrupled now, Sxx effects should also be quadrupled as in #12 Unknown 2 Fix.

Also note that this is a rough emulation; the real emulation is way more complex than that you'd expect.

PMed.
